That is one of my favorite quotes that to me describes writing. In some way shape or form a writer bares part of him or herself. Leaving them exposed and naked in some way. I am Selena Illyria, a writer of Romantic Erotic fiction. The genres I write are I/R contemporary, fantasy, futuristic and paranormal. I am currently unpublished, but am working on several stories at the moment. One story that I have just finished and is in editing is called Green Beer. An I/R Fantasy about a mortal woman and a Fae Prince. Green Beer is part of what I hope will be a five book series. I'm currently working on the sequel Pot of Gold.

Now that you know what I write and what I'm working on, what should I tell you about myself? Well, to be honest this took me several tries, to write my welcome message. A welcome message tells you who I am and what I'm about, but what should I expose to you dear reader? What parts of me should I bare to you?

Well, I am 25 years old, although at times I feel older. I have a cat who is very spoiled and yet I wouldn't trade her for all the world. I love to read, many different genres, form Paranormal to contemporary, from mystery to suspense. Who are my favorite authors you ask? Laurell K. Hamilton, MaryJanice Davidson, Angela Knight, Charlaine Harris, Sherrilyn Kenyon, J.K. Rowling, Laurie R. King, Eve Vaughn, Marilyn Lee, Paz Edwards, Anisa Damien, Nia Foxx, Crystal Green, Jamie Sobrato, Suzanne Forster, Tilly Greene, Shara Cooper, Celia Kyle, Monica Kaye and the list goes on and on and on, I assure you.


I also love to listen to music, so many favorite artists and yet I have to pick a few of my favorites to share with you. How difficult. Well, let's see, let's name a few names shall we? Christina Aguilera, Anggun, Evanescence, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Bond, The Wreckers, Shania Twain, Alicia Keys and the list goes on and on and on.

I also love to watch TV, so much inspiration can come from a TV Show, some of my favorites are Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, Bones, Heroes, Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, The Closer, Passport to Europe, Nigella Feasts, Nigella Bites, just to name a few.
