Power rippled over Sebastian’s skin as he felt his father arrive. His eyes flew open and he sat up. His vision was no longer blurred and he felt stronger. Glancing at his side, he saw Lea roll onto her side. He saw the swirls had extended to her face, wriggling, curling designs moved over her face. Sebastian ran a hand through his hair and shook his head.
“It’s gotten worse.” He sat up, pushed the covers away and threw his legs over the side of the mattress and stood up. He made his way over to his bathroom and took a shower and then dressed. He made his way down to the throne room, ignoring his stomach growling. He needed to see his father. As he approached the large room he heard male voices.
“Bastian, is doing better father, almost healed.” He identified Toryn speaking.
“Good, good and Lea?” His father asked.
“It seems to be getting worse. Bastian insists on the binding.”
“It is his decision. I won’t talk him out of it. Make the preparations. I’ll go and see Sebastian myself.”
Sebastian walked through the doorway and took in his father’s tall stature, long, ink black hair fell over his father’s shoulders. Dressed in all black, the old demon turned and smiled when he saw his son.
“Sebastian,” he opened his arms wide and Sebastian walked into them, wrapping his arms around his father for a bear hug of an embrace.
“It has been too long, my son. It is good to see you. I understand that there is to be a binding today. I won’t try and talk you out of it or warn you against it. I will say that you have my blessing. Now, let me see the woman who has captured your heart so that I may assess how best to heal her.”
Sebastian felt his heart lighten at his father’s words. He had thought that perhaps the old demon would try and talk him out of binding with Lea. To here, Lucifer, the king of the demons, give him, Sebastian, his blessing without a fight was a great thing. Sebastian led the way to the where Lea was.
The entered to room and found Lea curled up in bed, her arms wrapped around one of his pillows, the swirling pattern continuing to tighten and unfurl on her face.
“I know you care for her but I must see her alone. Leave us Sebastian and do not enter the room until I have called for you.” Lucifer did not look at his son when he said this and that worried Sebastian. Reluctantly he left, throwing one last look over his shoulder at Lea, whispering a prayer that she would survive whatever his father was about to do to help her heal. Closing the doors behind him, he ambled over to a nearby chair and sank down, hanging his head.
“Come on, brother, let’s get you something to eat, you look like you need a good meal,” Toryn said.
Sebastian opened his mouth to protest but nothing came out. Toryn grabbed his hand and pulled him up. Sebastian allowed his brother to pull him up. He needed something to focus on other than Lea and what might be happening in the bedroom.

Lucifer looked down at Lea and shook his head, “The lost daughter of Riken. Oh, Sebastian, what luck you have. I’ll have to move quickly. What I do now will only be temporary, she’ll need her father to complete the transformation.”
Lucifer extended his hands and closed his eyes. He started to chant softly as he tried to seal way the demonic power surging inside of Lea at the moment.
