Okay I was supposed to blog about Lori Foster's Get Together and my news but I've been feeling tired lately. Even more so today. I can't contrentrate and I've been bouncing from story to story. I'm hoping to finish Tartan Interlude by tomorrow and Renato's story by next week. For now, I'll just tell you my news. *Grin*

Discovering Passion aka Lida's Story has been contracted by Changeling Press and will be out in August. *Grin*

I'm excited about this story and I really hope that people like it. I'll post the unofficial blurb soon.

Okay, the short version of Lori Foster's Get Together. I had so much fun! The long recap will come soon but I will say this much, me, Ce and Tuesday together, dangerous people, very dangerous. All I'm willing to say is, story ideas. LMAO!

Don't worry we weren't too bad. LOL.

But after some talking with Ce and Tuesday I've made up some goals for myself for this summer. I'm hoping I meet them.

Okay, that's about it. Oh! I forgot to do Selena Recommends last update so here goes:

Selena Recommends:

The Vampire Babylon Series

In this first book of an all-new trilogy, life proves stranger than the movies when a Hollywood underground coven of vampires comes to light-and gets targeted by the tough-as-nails daughter of a sexy screen siren.

Stuntwoman Dawn Madison hasn't been on the best of terms with her father since her movie star mother died. Still, he is her dad, and when he vanishes while investigating the bizarre sighting-caught on film-of a supposedly long-dead child star, she comes home to Tinseltown to join the search for him. Working with his odd colleagues, she discovers an erotic and bloody underground society made up of creatures she thought existed only on the screen.

Night Rising was only the beginning...

Dawn Madison reluctantly came to Los Angeles in search of her missing father and found instead a world of murder and the living dead she never imagined existed. When a new vampire slaying lures Dawn deeper into the underground, her alliances in the sunlit world shift. Now she has only herself to trust and her newfound skills as "a spunky vampire slayer" (Publishers Weekly).

Selena Says:

I was really excited when I first read the excerpt. I was intrigued by this new paranormal world that Chris Marie Green was creating. The vampires she has created, especially, the "Guards" are like nothing I've ever read before.

The action and storyline are wonderfully crafted. Dawn is a believable character with issues. I adore Bresei and Kiko and The Voice just fascinates me.

Night Rising sets everything up, Midnight Reign to me really kicks everything into gear as we start to see how both sides, The Underground and The Voice, prepare for the upcoming face off. Midnight Reign for me was a rollercoaster ride of twists and turns. Some I suspected and some that just blew me away.

I loved reading about how The Master and Sorin met. I'm intrigued by Sorin's twin daughters and I can't wait to see how things play out for Dawn. Will she figure out who to trust? What will happen when she see Frank? What things can we learn about "The Voice" in Break of Dawn (Due out Sept. 2nd). The title Break of Dawn, based on what happened in Midnight Reign scares me.

I can't wait to read about Sorin's daughters in the First Blood Anthology (due out Aug. 5th). I look forward to delving deeper into Vampire Babylon. :-)

Unofficial Excerpt:

Their heads rolled from side to side, noses bumping. When he sucked her bottom lip into his mouth, scraping it with his teeth, she moaned. He pulled back letting go of her lip in the process. She stared at him, knees threatening to buckle, body on fire. His cocky smile said it all; he knew what she as feeling and as loathe as she was to admit, she couldn't deny it, even if it was unspoken. He pressed his hips against hers and she gasped at the feel of his erection, pressing against her stomach, he was huge if what she felt was true.
He took hold of one hand, releasing her fingers from his shirt with his other hand and then pressed her palm against his chest, guiding it down, over the ripples of his abdomen until it stopped at his groin. She could feel his hard length underneath her palm, his hand closed around hers, therefore closing her hand around him. She could feel him twitch, his heat practically burning through the fabric. Her eyes looked down at where her hand grasped him, where his hand covered hers.
She wanted to see him, wanted to see what she was currently holding, the urge was so strong it shocked her.
"It's okay, honey, he wants to see you too, wants you to hold him, feel your soft skin against his flesh," he whispered voice so low it was a husky growl, vibrating against her ear, touching places he hadn't touched yet. Places she wanted him to touch, stroke, feel until she came. Shaking, she met his gaze when he pulled back, desire burned bright and unmistakable in his eyes. She licked her lips, not sure where to go or how to proceed. Her mind had stalled.
"Do you want me, honey?"
All she could do was nod, she did want him.
"Good, let's go."
